Specifications
Dragonboard SIPs are precision-engineered structural panels designed to offer excellent strength, thermal performance, and fire resistance. Each panel is faced with A1-rated magnesium oxide board, providing a robust, non-combustible surface suitable for roofs, walls, and floors in both residential and commercial construction.
Our SIPs have undergone multiple tests for fire resistance to ensure Dragonboard meets the highest standards for fire performance, including BS 476 Part 22: 1987, achieving 4 hours of fire resistance of a load-bearing structure under BS EN 1365-1:2012. The most recent fire test we undertook was a Research and Development Cladding Test following the principles of BS 8414-2:2015 with A1 2017 Amendments. Their inherent fire safety, combined with outstanding racking strength and dimensional stability, ensures long-term durability in demanding environments.
Moisture-resistant and quick to install, Dragonboard SIPs help reduce cold bridging and improve airtightness. Available in a range of thicknesses, they are a reliable choice for modern methods of construction, including modular builds, where speed and compliance are key.
