Fire Resistance
Dragonboard® is a fire resistant building material.
- Dragonboard is non-combustible and has a zero smoke and flame rating
- A1 and A1FL Reaction to fire classification in accordance with EN 13501-1:2018
- 60 minute resistance to fire test in accordance with BS EN 1364-1:1999
Water and moisture resistant
Dragonboard® is water resistant and will not disintegrate when immersed in water.
- Maintains structural stability even when wet
- Does not swell

Impact resistant
Dragonboard is impact resistant and has been tested in accordance with BS 5234-2:1992 for the following:
- wall stiffness
- Surface damage by small hard body impact
- Resistance to damage by impact from a large soft body
- Resistance to perforation by a small hard body impact
- Resistance to structural damage by multiple impacts from a large soft body
- Determination of resistance to crowd pressure
Insect Resistant
Dragonboard does not support any insect life.
- Contains zero foodstuff.
- No termites.
- No ants.
- No wood boring insects
Mold resistant
Dragonboard is resistant to mold and mildew
- non-nutrient and naturally does not support the growth or mould or mildew
- Inorganic don’t provide a hospitable environment for mold to grow
- Resistant to moisture
- Good for areas prone to water exposure
Breathable
Dragonboard is breathable building material
- Prevents moisture buildup and associated issues like mold and mildew
- Natural ability to absorb moisture and expel it back out.
- Suitable use in areas of high humidity or at risk of flooding.

MgO boards are highly sustainable, consumes low energy, resistant to fire, weather ability, strong and resistant to mould and mildew. The characteristics of MgO board offer it as a viable alternative, which has the potential to outperform alternative sheathing materials.
