Dragonboard® is a board which is 100% natural and environmentally friendly and perfect for a comprehensive range of construction requirements. No heat or pressure is used in its manufacture.
Our product is made from magnesium oxide and magnesium chloride, water and a special fibrous material used for strengthening. Unlike any other MgO Sulphate board available on the market, Dragonboard® has been engineered to give performance levels that outperform its competitors.
Dragonboard®is available in a vast range of sizes, with thicknesses ranging from 3mm to 25mm, and board dimensions stretching up to 3000mm in length. Having such a variety of sizes available makes it suitable for a host of applications.

Dragonboard is an extremely versatile product due to the many properties it possesses. The board can be used externally as a finished wall which can be painted or rendered to, or it can be used internally on walls, floors and ceilings.
Attributes
Fire Resistant
In testing, Dragonboard® surpassed the required 2 hour mark, achieving a pass. The board continued to perform for further 123 minutes until the test was discontinued giving it a fire test rating of 243 minutes (4 hours 3 minutes).
Water Resistant
When submerged in water Dragonboard® will not disintegrate, rot, decay or swell. Freeze and thaw cycles will also not affect Dragonboard® performance. Having such properties has seen Dragonboard feature in BRE Flood Resilience House. Learn more here

Anti-bacterial
Dragonboard® is a non-nutrient therefore, does not support the growth of mould, mildew, fungus or insect life.
Non-combustible
Dragonboard® is non-combustible and has a zero smoke and flame rating.
Breathable
The breathable nature of the board allows it to dry out and expel moisture without compromising its strength and integrity.
Strong and stable
Dragonboard® is strong and has a good flexural and tensile strength.
Chemically inert
Dragonboard® will not react to any chemicals that it comes into contact with.
Finish
Dragonboard® external finish can accommodate numerous internal and external finishes, such as painted, plastered, tiled, rendered and brick slipped.
